**Note from Joanne: I used this dryer on my own standard poodles in thick 4-6" coat, also had some groomers who specialize in big hairy dogs try it. I have also compared to the Hercules and Nova and nebula. Basically this is the highest Wind force. It stays the coolest due to the separate motors(your room air temperature, cleanliness of filters and length of running time will contribute).  It quickly became my favorite for big jobs, due to staying cool and blowing hard. for small to medium i prefer Nova for the heat option.
