ShowTech Maxi Pin brush made in Germany.  Large short pins (the longer the coat the longer the pins) Pin brushes do the least damage. 

CGD wooden Slicker- Med oval. this slicker was designed by me. fine tines and a soft cushion make it really separate the coat. You will find that the more curly/wooly soft texture and if hair is air dried in clumps it will pull a little more, versus wiry/flatter/and using the brushing spray will greatly help.  

KISS aluminum comb in med. my fav comb to put in the hands of pet parents due to its overall size, the coarse and fine sections(spacing between teeth) and the teeth are not too sharp yet not so thick that they do not penetrate coat. for the ultimate fine finishing comb go with KISS scissoring comb. For a strong workhorse comb go with Aesculap
