This medium toothed comb is used for removing knots and tangles, for general combing or for the removal of fluffy undercoat. May also be used after brushing to check for any mats left in the coat. If necessary use a fine or extra fine comb to be sure all mats have been removed.

* note from Joanne: having a handle shaped like this one is far less fatiguing on your hands then trying to grip a skinny backed one all day. It also prevents tines getting pushed loose from using them for leverage. The teeth are nice and fine for great separation on muzzles and getting eye gunk out in the tub and less slippery than skinny spine ones.
