Ear wax and other dirt can stick to the hair in the dog’s ear and thus prevent oxygen from circulating in the ear. To prevent infections, we recommend plucking the hair from the inside of the ear.

Use instructions 

You can use Ear forceps to pull hair , but not if the ears are red and sore, or seem infected. In this case, we advise you to consult your vet.  Be aware of contamination of the open hair folicles(after plucking) prvent soapy water from getting in and cleanse ear with cleaner.

*Note from Joanne: Forceps are not meant to twist and pull out all the hair.  Best way to use them is like tweezers and pluck a bit at a time. These forceps have no lock which is less fatiguing to hand. Ever been waxed?  remember how the esthetician would place their hand on the skin to stop the vibration?  you can do the same by quickly rubbing inside ear to reduce that funny feeling.
